Get Rid of Wrinkles Faster Than They Appear!


Get rid of wrinkles? It used to be only women who are willing to pay through their noses to make their wrinkles disappear. Nowadays, even middle aged men are very concerned about those worry lines, crow's feet and frown lines appearing. Prevention is always better than cure. We will look at some ways to get rid of wrinkles even before they start crawling onto your face.

1. Quit Smoking 
If you are a smoker, stop that immediately. Smoking activates premature skin aging or what people call photo-aging.

2. Protection from Sunlight 
Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight. Sunlight damages our skin tissues and promotes wrinkles. If you have to be out in the sun, apply sun screens that protects against Ultra Violet A & B rays. UVA is the main culprit behind wrinkle development because of its ability to penetrate into our skin surface.

3. Quit Drinking 
Drinking causes a host of health problems and severe dehydration. All these are not healthy for our skin condition. So be warned, kick your drinking habit to get rid of wrinkles.

4. Drink Lots of Water 
It is a simple thing to do, but we often neglect hydrating our body with enough fluids. Water plays a key role in maintaining healthy skin complexion. A minimum of 8 glasses daily is ideal.

5. Proper Diet 
Remember to include at least 5 servings of vegetables and 1 serving of fruit in your daily meals. Eat vegetables and fruits with antioxidant properties like spinach, asparagus, brussel sprouts, watercress, broccoli, papaya, guava, mangoes, pineapple and cantaloupe. Antioxidants stop oxidation processes responsible for visible effects of skin aging. Vegetable oils such as olive oil, soybean, nuts and nut butters, whole grains are also rich in antioxidants. Protein and meats with omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon, tuna, snapper and cod are best when broiled or baked.

Research has revealed that old folks who eat such foods have way lesser wrinkles than their peers who don't.

6. Vitamin Supplements 
Daily intake of vitamins such as Vitamin A, B, C and E boosts our bodies' antioxidant defense. This protects us against the harmful damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals essentially cause a loss in our skin elasticity, leading to wrinkles. By ensuring our body gets a constant supply of vitamins, we can get rid of wrinkles even before they appear.

My brother is also very concerned about his facial wrinkles. These signs of aging really make him look upset, tired and old. My uncle recently recommended him a Toronto fraxel procedure for wrinkle removal. This treatment seems to be very effective, safe and affordable.
