WINTER HAIR CARE


It is very important to take extra care of your hair in winter. A little negligence can result in long-term damages. It is necessary to have proper knowledge of hair care and what is detrimental to them.
Massage
Scalp massage with a good hair oil such as coconut oil, almond oil on regular basis. It invigorates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair filament. After oil massage steam works wonders as it open pores and allows fast absorption into hair roots. To take steam at home, cover your head with a warm damp towel after a good oil massage.
Cleansing
Keep hair clean as it tangles dirt easily. Avoid using harsh shampoos and conditioner it can damage scalp badly and may cause weakening of hair and dandruff. Avoid washing with too warm water. It is better to wash it off with fresh tap water preferably at room temperature.
Hair dyes should be of good quality. Stop using if it causes considerable damage to the hair. Similarly buy hair products that don’t have harsh dyes, fragrance and chemicals.
Avoid brushing or tying wet hair. Use a conditioner comb thirty minutes after taking a shower.
Hat and Pillow Covers
It is better to keep hair cover with a comfortable hat or hair cover. The pillow cases made of cotton may devoid your hair of the moisture while you are asleep. Moreover it causes friction that can break, frizz or split the hair. So use satin pillow covers that will noticeably improve the condition of hair and skin.
Diet
Balanced diet is essential for the health of hair. Take vitamins, minerals and proteins. Drink plenty of water, 10 to 12 glasses a day.
Trimming
AS an added measure, get your hair trimmed once every three months. Trendy haircuts also look great that go well with complexion and face shape.
Consult your physician in case of serious issues. With simple tips you can retain the natural beauty of hair in chilly weather and enjoy the impressive looks.
